In this sequel to Mind to Mind (1971) Silverberg has sought out manifestations of special talents that are more odd or uncommon than simple ESP, clairvoyance or the like. In the process he has come up with stories that will be new even to avid devourers of sci-fi anthologies. Some of them are hardly worth the effort of resurrecting, especially Philip Dick's ""Golden Man"" which may have been fine twenty years ago but now seems silly and sexist. But the last two tales here, in their different ways, justify the enterprise; Frank Belknap's evanescent nursery rhyme world--""Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall""--is vintage fantasy, and Kris Neville's ""Bettyann"" is the curiously believable case history of a little girl who doesn't really belong on earth until she meets her own kind from outer space and discovers she can never go home again.
